Naomi Jackson

Naomi Jackson is the Senior Director of Finance at KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools, a non-profit network of four public charter schools located in north and west Jacksonville. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning, leadership, financial management, resource development and process improvement. 

Prior to joining KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools, Naomi worked as the Chief Financial Officer at the lead child welfare non-profit agency in Northeast Florida. Naomi’s previous professional experience also includes over 15 years in corporate environments, where she has worked in the areas of internal audit, accounting & reporting, and several human resources functions including talent management, diversity & inclusion, employee engagement, and health & welfare benefits. She currently serves on the advisory boards for the Jacksonville University College of Arts and Sciences and the Flagler College Women of Vision.

Naomi earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Florida A&M University, and her Master’s degree in Forensic Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. She has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida since 2008. 

Naomi has a true passion for working with communities and in partnerships to improve the quality of life for under-represented populations. She is able utilize her diverse skill set and background to add value and provide strong leadership across a variety of functional areas. Her mantra, quoted from Peter Drucker, is “…leadership is lifting a person’s vision to high sights, the raising of a person’s performance to a higher standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations”. 

 

Naomi is married to her husband Russ and they are the proud parents of three children, Jordan, Isaiah, and Russ Jr.
